Rubber Expansion Joint

Rubber Expansion Joints

What are they?

Rubber expansion joints are flexible connectors made of natural or synthetic elastomers, reinforced with fabric or metal. They absorb vibration, noise, shock, and thermal movement while protecting piping systems and connected equipment from stress or misalignment.

Why use them?

Excellent flexibility to handle lateral, angular, and torsional movements.

Reduce vibration, noise, and water hammer for smoother system performance.

Thick elastomer walls resist corrosion, abrasion, and aggressive chemicals.

Lightweight and easy to install, no separate gaskets required.

Long service life due to high fatigue resistance.

Applications Common in HVAC, pumps, compressors, chemical plants, water treatment, desalination, cement, power generation, and general piping systems where noise and vibration isolation is important.
